The New Moon in Gemini - Searching for Clarity

New Moon in Gemini

This New Moon occurs at 26° Gemini at 9:37 pm PST June 17th / 12:37 am EST June 18th. It will be most impactful for those with planets and major angles between 24° — 28° of mutable and air signs: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces, Libra, and Aquarius.

The New Moon in Gemini is generally known for its whimsical, light-hearted, and dualistic nature. Ironically, this year, it may be trickier for this energy to be felt and expressed as the planetary ruler of this Moon, Mercury, is being squared by Saturn in Pisces (which is also stationing retrograde)…leading to more difficulty in our communication and intellectual expression!  If that’s not enough, The Sun and Moon are being squared by Neptune in Pisces - meaning things may not be what they seem. Don’t believe everything you see or hear! Despite these alignments, we can still take some time to appreciate and explore the essence of this New Moon and what it represents: communication, versatility, and curiosity!

Gemini, an air sign, represents intellect, wit, and adaptability. The symbol of the twins refelcts the duality within us, reminding us that we possess a myriad of perspectives and facets within our being. As this New Moon takes residence in Gemini's domain, we are encouraged to embrace our multifaceted nature and explore the infinite possibilities that lie before us.

Take this opportunity to improve your communication skills, express your thoughts and emotions authentically, and actively listen to those around you.

To work with this energy efficiently, focus on setting intentions related to communication, intellectual growth, adaptability, and curiosity.
