Start Your Mornings with Spice - The Turmeric Latte does the Trick

Anyone else a fan of Turmeric Lattes? AKA Golden Milk or Haldi Doodh? I have started drinking them, I love how the spice warms me up on these chilly mornings! And the health benefits of turmeric aren't bad either!

Turmeric is known for its many healing benefits such as being an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antibacterial.

This beverage originated in India and is essentially, milk infused with turmeric and has been used to aid many ailments, including colds, coughs, inflammation, aches, pains, and restlessness.

There are all kinds of variations of the warm drink and of course using fresh grated turmeric is ideal, but powdered/ground turmeric will also work.

My Ingredients are:

✅ 1 cup of vanilla oat milk

✅ 1/2 tablespoon ground turmeric

✅ 1/2 tsp. cardamom

✅ 1 tsp. ground ginger

✅ 2 tsp. maple syrup

✅ Sprinkled cinnamon on top

Just heat, stir and serve!
